Jane has over 10 years finance experience working with varied businesses in both employed and self-employed roles. Jane worked from 2016 to 2020 on a sub-contract basis with Chilcomb Management Services based on the Harwell site. Chilcomb is not a typical accountancy practice as they work very closely with their clients, mostly high tech start-ups, effectively becoming their outsourced finance department. Chilcomb offers the full range of financial services from bookkeeping and payroll, to cashflow forecasting. Xero is the accounts system of choice for Chilcomb. During this time Jane worked for Keit Spectrometers, Oxford Space Systems, Mirico and Oxford nanoSystems.
